Birge & Held celebrated its 10-year anniversary in August of 2018. A milestone we are proud to share with our team and valued clients. Our success is due largely in part to their belief in our platform and vision.
In an effort to take advantage of strategic real estate acquisition opportunities in the distressed real estate marketplace in 2008, co-founders Taggart Birge and Andrew Held started what is now BH with participation from Bruce Cordingley and the other founders of the Pedcor Companies.
Since its inception in 2008, BH has acquired more than 10,000 units and currently manages 9,300 units across 38 properties, representing an estimated fair market value of $850 million in multifamily assets across the country.
